You can use this feature when you want to move or copy one, more or all items from one list to another.
In a first version this feature can only be used for generic lists. It is not possible to mover or copy items between document
libraries or lists of other types.
To open the application page for the Copy List Items Feature, click the Actions button in the list view and choose the
Copy List Items menu item.
This opens an application page where you can configure a certain number of settings before starting the move or copy action.
In the Select the Source list items you can indicate which items you want to move or copy. You can also choose to select all items.
In the Keep Folder Structure section you can specify if you want to keep the existing folder structure, or if you want the
items to be copied or moved to the root folder of the target list.
In the Select the Destination List section you can choose an existing list from a dropdown list as the destination of the move/copy action.
If the destination list contains folders, you can use the Select the Destination Folder section to indicate in which folder you want to copy/move the items.
In the Delete Source Items section you can specify whether you want to delete the items from the source list or not.
The Statistics section will give you an idea on how much the source List and destination list match.
